Anita Kalathara co-stars in India Sweets & Spices on Hulu and can be seen playing the Young Mindy Kaling on The Mindy Project and in supporting roles in Greta Gertwig’s Lady Bird and Trafficked with Ashley Judd. When she’s not making badass fan films go viral, (like her short Kamala, based on the Ms. Marvel comics), she’s hunting for the best fried chicken. She has completely disappointed her Indian doctor/lawyer parents and is proud of it. She loves telling stories of women who go against the grain and defy societal limitations.
